Jesse Baxter is a theatre artist, director, and producer whose work explores the relationship between storytelling, place, and human connection. As Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Dramatic Adventure Theatre, he has led theatre-making projects across four continents, collaborating with artists and communities to create work rooted in lived experience. His practice centers on site-responsive performance, collective creation, and the belief that theatre is most powerful when made with people rather than about them. At the heart of his work is a commitment to creating spaces where curiosity, empathy, and connection can take root—one story, one moment, and one “dramatic adventure” at a time—where artists and communities imagine what’s possible and create new stories together.
